February 1954; A happy couple at the Kerins O'Rahillys social at the Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee. The social was held to celebrate the clubs 1953 Senior County Championship win against Shannon Rangers. The final was held on the 20th September 1953 in Austin Stacks, where the Strand Road team defeated Shannon Rangers 1-4 to 0-5.
