8th June 1964; A photo taken when over 150 members of the English and Irish Railway Record Societies travelled on a steam train from Limerick to Tralee via Listowel, to Fenit and then on to Killarney. The engine was a steam-driven 0-6-0 type, first brought into service in the 1860's. The line to Fenit was open in 1887 to transport fish catches.
