20th April 1965; Twenty year old Ena Clancy of Thomond Gate, Limerick, being removed by helicopter from St. Catherine's County Hospital, Tralee to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Miss Clancy injured her spine when the van in which she and six others were travelling on the road to the Gap of Dunloe on Easter Sunday, failed to take a bridge on a bend and overturned.
