Sunday 20th August 1967; Descendants of Daniel O'Connell at Derrynane Abbey. Once the home of 'The Liberator', Daniel O'Connell, the Abbey was re-opened by President Eamon de Valera. Daniel O'Connell's great great grandson Rev. John M O'Connell of London (at the front of the photo), celebrated Mass in the Chapel that Daniel O'Connell built onto the 18th Century House.
