13th October 1964; Mr Florence O'Connor, Festival of Kerry President, lays a wreath at The Mulchinock Memorial Stone to mark the Centenary of the death of William Pembroke Mulchinock, who wrote the song 'The Rose of Tralee'. Members of the Festival of Kerry committee including George Rice, are also present.
