December 1961; A photo of Mr John Moriarty and his son of Mulloghvale, Dingle, on the Connor Pass. Mr Moriarty climbed down a few hundred feet to rescue a beagle owned by Tadhg Galvin of Dingle Beagle Club, who were out hunting when the beagle left the pack and went down the cliff at the back of the Black Lake.
