2nd March 1964; A photo of the house in Boola Firies of Edward Larkin who collapsed at his farmhouse and died in hospital the following day, aged 37 years. A post-mortem did not reveal the cause of death. In a preliminary investigation by Supt. John P. McMahon, a party of around 20 Gardai probed around the house, garden and fields at Boola.
