2nd April 1966; The boat the 'Ard &#214;de' landed a sturgeon in  St. Finian's Bay in Dingle by Skipper Sean Brosnan. It was the first sturgeon caught in the area in living memory. Mr Michael Keane, Manager of the Dingle Co-operative Society, said the fish would be presented to President De Valera as part of the Easter Ceremonies.
