2009-11-28
On the days leading up to the Gathering Day of Puck, 10th August, the travelling community came to Killorglin with there horse drawn caravans and parked on the Killarney/Killorglin Road at the Laune Bridge, this parctice was discontinued in 1960 after the 3/4 mile limits were introduced - new laws prevented this age old practice and the Travelling Community had to make other arrangements for their annunal gathering at Puck
