11th April 1964; Pupils of Listowel Boys National School digging a drain on their sportsfield. The field had been waterlogged for most of the preceding year so the boys decided to install a drainage scheme. They did all the work themselves on Saturday, 11th April.

I’m Helen Kennelly’s brother Michael Flaherty. You took my passport picture back in 1957. I was wondering if you had taken any pictures of the old boys National School in Listowel before it was torn down. Or any one that may have taken photos. That is a beautiful picture of my sister Helen. Regards Michael Flaherty
