General De Gaulle In Ireland

10th May-19th June 1969; Press and photographers wait outside the Heron Cove Hotel to try and get a glimpse of Charles Andre Joseph Marie De Gaulle, French General and Statesman who rescued his country from the chaos and ruin it had fallen into during World War II. The general stayed at the hotel while in Kerry for a quiet holiday.
