Kerry Mountain Rescue

March 1971; A set of five tyres were presented to members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Assciation by Irish Dunlop for their rescue tender. The tender's main function is to carry stretchers, field kitchens and other necessary equiptment. Mr Tom Hudson, Sales Controller, Irish Dunlop, congratulated the association on their good work, which he said was particularly important at a time when leisure and outdoor adventure sports were becoming increasingly popular. Included in the picture are: Tom Hudson; John Walsh, Glencar, Vice Chairman of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Association; Gerry O'Neill, Southern Area Manager for Irish Dunlop; John Maguire, Muckross, Kerry Mountain Rescue Association; Derry Daly, Marketing Representative, Irish Dunlop and Pat Hussey, Controller, Advance Tyre Company, Tralee.
