Ardfert Parish Schools Strike
15th January 1968; An outside toilet at a parish School in Ardfert, one of five parish schools that were temporarily closed by the INTO due to inadequate heating and unsanitary conditions. The schools were Ardfert, Banna, Barrow, Kilmoyley and Tubrid.
