Ardfert Parish Schools Strike

15th January 1968; Mr Jerry Allman, President of the INTO, collects the keys of the five school in Ardfert Parish. The schools were temporarily closed due to inadequate heating and unsanitary conditions. The schools were: Ardfert, Banna, Barrow, Kilmoyley and Tubrid.
