A Sod Cutting Ceremony

16th October 1966; His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr Denis Moynihan, Bishop of Kerry, cuts the first sod on the site of the Hospital for Mentally Handicapped Children at Whitefield, Beaufort. The Hospital was erected for the Sisters of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood.
