

A Mountain Rescue on Mount Brandon
31st March 1965; Sargeant Concannon and Jeremiah Clifford at the foot of Mount Brandon where a group of Cloghane and Tralee men saved the life of Dublin psychiatrist Dr Patricia Pringle, who was trapped on a narrow ledge on Mount Brandon on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, the 30th and 31st of March. Dr. Pringle was holidaying with a friend and attempted to reach the top of the 3,170 foot mountain when she strayed onto a narrow ledge on the cliff face of Faha Peak.
