Derrynane Abbey
8th June 1970; The deeds for 300 acres of the Derrynane Abbey Estate were formally handed over to the Office of Public Works by Mr T. J. O'Driscoll, Director General of Bord Fáilte. Mr O'Driscoll presented the deeds to Mr Noel Lemass, T.D., Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for finance.
