Monsignor John Lane PP VG Dean of Kerry blesses the Boat the St Brendan II in the Mount Brandon Hotel, Tralee before Captain Louis Lourmais (left), a 46 year old oceanographer who was born in Boston, and 26 year old Canadian Vint Lloyd (right) left Fenit in the boat to follow St Brendan the Navigator's route across the Atlantic to Nova Scotia.
