The St Brendan II Leaves Fenit
26th August 1967; Captain Louis Lourmais, a 46 year old oceanographer who was born in Boston, has a glass of Guinness before leaving Fenit to follow St Brendan the Navigator's route across the Atlantic to Nova Scotia via Greenland and Iceland.
