

1916 Commemoration Ceremonies in Tralee
10th April 1966; Billy Mullins reads the Proclamation of Independence outside the Thomas Ashe Memorial Hall in Tralee for the 1916 Easter Rising Commemoration Ceremonies. The ceremonies started with a parade that went from the old Rink Premises in Basin Road, where the Kerry Volunteers assembled in 1916 to stand by for insurrection, and finished at the Thomas Ashe Memorial Hall with speeches and Solemn High Mass.
