A 48 Hour Fast

4th January 1968; Colm O'Daly, Ted Keane Jnr, Vincent Boner and John O'Donnell of the Tralee Student Movement began a 48 hour fast without sleep in Denny Street, Tralee. The students wanted to raise 200 Pounds towards the construction of a piggery in Ortum, Kenya.
