

Blasting Rock at Moll's Gap
24th January 1968; County Council workers testing a new method of blasting rock using 3/4 ton of gelignite near Moll's Gap. The exploded rock covered 50 yds. of road between Killarney and Sneem. It took workers a day to clear the road using bulldozers.
