Dolores O'Sullivan

9th February 1965; Fourteen year old Dolores O'Sullivan, Glenbeigh, winner of the Kerry County Final of the National Fish Cookery Competition, sponsored by Bord Iascaigh Mhara in the Central Technical School, Tralee. The prize was a cheque for 10 guineas and was awarded to Dolores by Right Rev. Monsignor J. Lane. Dolores, who won the prize for her Whiting dish, also won a cheque for 5 guineas for best in her class.
