On Board The 'Ierne' Vessel

May 1958; Joan Kennelly on board the 'Ierne', the Irish Lights service vessel from Liverpool which was making it's way to the Skellig Islands with President and Mrs Sean T O'Kelly on board. The 'Ierne' was in Valentia for the launch of the Rowland Watts Lifeboat. The naming ceremony was performed by Mrs Sean T O'Kelly, wife of the President of Ireland.
