On Board the 'Ierne'

May 1958; Joan Kennelly on board the Irish Lights vessel the 'Ierne' from Liverpool which was making it's way to the Skellig Islands with the President Sean T O'Kelly on board. The 'Ierne' was in Valentia for the launch of the Rowland Watts Lifeboat. The naming ceremony was performed by Mrs O'Kelly.
