

Valentia Island Ferry
September/October 1967; A new ferry service in operation to Valentia. Mr Eddie and Mr John Murphy of Knightstown took on the job when the old service was discontinued. Mr Paddy Murphy discontinued the ferry service as he wanted compensation for the loss of business which would result from the erection of the Valentia Island Bridge.
