The Unveiling of the Casement Memorial

28th July 1968; The artist Marshall Hudson (front) at the unveiling of the Casement Memorial in Banna Strand. Mr Hudson designed the monument which was to commemorate the landing on 21st April 1916 of Roger Casement and Robert Monteith. The memorial was blessed by the Right Rev. Monsignor John Lane, Dean of Kerry and the De Profundis was recited by Rev. Fr Bartholemew Egan of Dublin.
