21st June 1967; Joe Grace (centre) at the opening of Shellfish Ireland, Europe's first plant for the artificial cultivation of shellfish in Kilfenora, at Tralee Bay, near Fenit. Mr Brendan Reilly, Chairman of Bord Iascaigh Mhara, cut the ribbon. The Very Rev. E O'Connor P.P. Churchill, blessed the premises.
