29th July 1969; The Agricultural Biology Field Centre was officially opened by the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Education, Mr Sean O'Connor, in Clash. The ceremony was presided over by the Very Reverend Fr. Peter Scott. Included in the photo is John Joe Sheehy.
