Mayor Carl Wicke Shaves his Beard
29th September 1967; Listowel barber Jimmy Clancy shaves off the beard of Mayor Carl Wicke of Listowel, Ontario, the twin town of Listowel, Co. Kerry. Mayor Wicke grew the beard as part of the Canadian Centennial Celebrations in July 1966.
