President êamon De Valera Visits Abbeyfeale

3rd March 1963; Members of the F.C.A 14th Batallion from Limerick, under Commandant A. Downey, provide a guard of honour for President êamon De Valera in Abbeyfeale. The President unveiled the trophy which the town won in the 1962 Gl¢r Na nGael Competition and to present awards sent by other centres. The whole ceremony was in Irish. The President then unveiled the Glor Na nGael trophy erected over the entrance of the Munster & Leinster Bank.
