A Dispute at Dunquin School

25th September 1970; A dispute at Dunquin National School started on the 7th September when parents refused to let their children board the bus to Ballyferriter school. Brendan and Maire Ferriter held classes illegally in Dunquin School because the School had been closed by the department of Education the previous week.
