

Rose Of Tralee Festival Painting Presentation
3rd September 1963; The vale of Tralee painting was presented at a ceremony in the Festival Offices by American Artist Leon O' Kennedy. George Rice, Secretary, accepted the painting on behalf of the committee. The painting measures 4ft 4' by 3ft. Against the background of the Sliabh Mish Mountain Range can be seen the figures portraying the Rose Of Tralee and William Pemroke Mulchinock standing on the banks of the river. (From Left to Right) included in the picture are George Rice and Leon O'Kennedy.
