Theresa Kenny the 1960 Rose of Tralee
30th August 1960; Chicago Rose Theresa Kenny, Ballyheigue, winner of the Rose of Tralee. Theresa emigrated from Shannon to Chicago in 1955. This was her first visit to Ireland from Chicago where she was employed as a receptionist in an electrical appliance manufacturing firm.
