

The Jamaican Provider Ship in Fenit
28th March 1968; Members of Tralee UDC and Kerry Council in Fenit to see the largest ship to arrive in Fenit by 1968, the Jamaican Provider (649 tons net) from Rotterdam. The ship was in Fenit to transport Liebherr Cranes. Included are: County Councillors Noel O'Connor and Michael Begley, County Manager Pat O'Halloran and Tralee UDC Chairman Tom Ryle. The Jamaican Provider was owned by Bahamian Company, Narwhal Ltd.
