On Board The 'Ierne' Vessel

May 1958; President Sean T O'Kelly (left) on board the 'Ierne' Vessel from Liverpool which was making it's way to the Skellig Islands. The 'Ierne', the Irish Lights service vessel, was in Valentia for the launch of the Rowland Watts Lifeboat. The naming ceremony was performed by Mrs O'Kelly.
