A Mine in Dingle
January 1964; A mine found in fishing nets on board John Brosnan's boat, 'Ard Ide'. The mine was cordoned off by gardai and brought back to shore. Apparently the mine was used by French fishermen as a bouy. The spikes had been sawn off, so the mine was harmless.
