Ardfert Parish Schools Strike

15th January 1968; Mr Jerry Allman, President of the INTO, speaks at a public meeting in Ardfert to discuss the closure of the Parish schools. The schools were temporarily closed due to inadequate heating and unsanitary conditions. The five schools were: Ardfert, Banna, Barrow, Kilmoyley and Tubrid.
