

The St Brendan II in Tralee
26th August 1967; The St Brendan II is taken away from the Mount Brandon Hotel where it was on display before Captain Louis Lourmais, a 46 year old oceanographer who was born in Boston, and 26 year old Canadian Vint Lloyd leave to follow St Brendan the Navigator's route across the Atlantic to Nova Scotia.
