St Joseph's Industrial School
April 1955; Mr and Mrs Ernest Hart of Indianapolis USA visited Ireland to promote letter writing to US pen friends. The couple were met by Brother O'Driscoll (Superior) and Eamon Horan (Chairman, Tralee UDC). The boys of St. Joseph's Industrial School put on a concert in the school to mark the visit.
