The Festival of Kerry Committee with a Souvenir Linen Towel

August 1965; The Festival of Kerry Committee with a souvenir linen towel made by the Ulster Linen Company Ltd. The towel featured a map of Kerry with the Rose of Tralee standing on a cluster of roses, a verse of the song the Rose of Tralee and a view of the Gap of Dunloe, the Ladies View and Ross Castle. The towel was available to buy as a souvenir in shops. In the photo Kerry footballer Brian Sheehy is holding the towel, also included are: Florence O'Connor, President of the Festival of Kerry; Emmett Kennelly, George Rice (secretary) and Noel O'Connor.
