The Rose Of Tralee
October 1963; Pat Wynne planting the 'Rose of Tralee' flower next to the monument in the town park in Tralee. The famous rose grower Mr Sam McGredy, from Portadown, had specially cultivated and named the rose after the Rose of Tralee.
