Textura (Ireland) Ltd.

17th November 1967; The Textura (Ireland) Ltd. factory which was opened by Mr George Colley, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in Killorglin. The factory had a staff of sixteen men and women and produced upholstery cloth for furniture. The cloth was produced for export. Mr Leif Persson Junior was the factory manager of the Swedish-owned company. Forty-five Continental Industrialists flew into Cork for the opening.
