Bob O'Connor with a Giant Trout
September 1970; Bob O'Connor, 'Roselawn', Rathass, Tralee, with the 6lb 2oz. specimen brown trout he caught on the River Laune near Dunloe Castle. Using a 6 foot rod weighing 8 ozs and an 8lb line, Bob landed the the trout after 25 minutes hard play.
