European Shore Angling Heat

1st July 1962; Almost 100 Anglers competed in the European Shore Angling Heat which took place at the Pier in Fenit. They represented clubs from Ireland and abroad. The winner of the individual Heat was Mr F. Nolan from Dublin who caught 19lb and the Junior award went to Donal Enright of Valentia. The overall team prize went to Dublin.
