Tomas Sheehy's Boat
13th May 1966; A photo of Tomas Sheehy with his crew on his 56 foot boat 'Coolan', in Dingle. On May 1st, Mr Sheehy was ordered to hand over his boat. He received notice that his boat was being taken because he was falling behind on his hire purchase payments with Bod Iascaigh Mhara. There were four other Skippers in danger of losing their boats for the same reason. Dingle fishermen protested to BIM.
