9th March 1955; Gardai Investigated A Fire Which Gutted A Two Storey House At Inch, Co. Kerry. They Found The Charred Remains Of Owen Griffin, His Wife Brigid And Their Son Eugene. After A Post Mortem Carried Out By Dr. Maurice Hickey, The State Pathologist, It Was Discovered That The Victims Had Been Shot. After A Further Inquest By The Homicide Squad From Dublin, The Tragic Story Unfolded. Eugene Shot His Parents Twice And Then Turned The Gun On Himself.
