Derrynane Abbey
July 1965; John (left) and James Murphy, Caherdaniel, working on the removal of the old dairy attached to Derrynane Abbey. The dairy, built of local stone and lime morter, was the oldest part of the Abbey, but its condition was too bad to save it. By removing it, more light fell on the Abbey and a driveway was constructed around the house.
