Ardfert Parish Schools Strike

15th January 1968; Pupils in the classroom of one of the Ardfert Parish schools that were temporarily closed due to inadequate heating and unsanitary conditions. The five schools were: Ardfert, Banna, Barrow, Kilmoyley and Tubrid.
