Waterville Rainbow Trout Farm Losses

August 1962; A photo taken at the Danish Rainbow Fish Farm outside waterville after 600,000 Fingerling Trout died under mysteious circumstances within the months of July and August. The Danish firm's Irish Manager Hans Schmidt had estimated the losses at over £10,000. Several biologists were called in to study samples of the water and some fish carcasses were sent to the lab.
